The other day was probably the most depressing day of my life BECAUSE "SOMEONE" totally stood me up! They called to "hang out" and when I called back a couple of hours later, they never picked up their phone! Ugh, talk about rude. It made me feel really sad because NO GUY has ever stood me up in my 24 years of life! It may sound pathetic, but seriously.
Anyway, speaking of being played because that is what I consider it.. Have you guys ever felt played by a guy?
I have this crazy story to tell you about this one chick I knew who was 25 which is a year older than me this year but was 3 years older than me when I was 22. Honestly, age doesn't make a difference but in this story it plays such a HUGE factor. Alright, so get some chips and salsa ready because I have a story for YOU.
Check it out, I met this girl a couple of years ago and she was SOOOOO freaken gorgeous..perfect face and body! To top it off, she was super sweet to everyone when Bob (not his real name) introduced her to us. And to make matters even more crazy, her name was not only exotic but unique and matched her face and personality during our first introduction..hmmm well I won't announce her real name but it was something similar to "Anastasia."
Anyway, with a group of people she was cool to be with and included EVERYONE. I used to catch her eyeing me and my ex whenever him and I played silly games together (this will play a vital role later on in this story). After getting to know her and including her in our group and shindigs, Bob decided it would be a good idea if his "girl" and I would go shopping together to purchase things for their upcoming "theme" party. EVERYTHING was perfect until that little chica picked me up and had this little attitude to her. Every time I said something, it was followed by silence. Throughout the car ride she BRAGGED her ass off about how her parents praise her for always having the "highest tastes" and knowing "the best type of guys" to choose, blah blah blahhhhh.
Bob, of course, he is freaken gorgeous! Of course he was in his mid-thirties at the time, owned a HUGE ass truck, dropped bills on us like there was no tomorrow. And to top it off, he let her use his truck to pick me up so I assumed she felt all high and mighty driving that huge monster around. Wellll... the thing about Bob was that he was recently divorced and had two children. She told me the story about how they met; She basically went in to have her phone fixed and he helped her, flirted with her and she was immediately attracted. Her famous lines were "He's just different out of all the guys... I really feel something special about him. I have never felt this way before or loved anyone like this before..." I just remember agreeing with everything she said since she ALWAYS chose the "BEST TASTES" and the "BEST GUYS" and was super "MATURE."
When we went shopping, I suggested buying a couple of decorations for the themed party but she just rolled her eyes and reminded me "this is an adult party, we need to buy adult things." So ... three hours later of her picking everything out, and staring blankly at each item, she finally made her decision and I wanted to kill myself for wasting time with a high and mighty, boring cardboard box who took everything too seriously. I was so angry with Bob for suggesting this. Then upon bringing me home she said in such a snobby way "I HATE drinking.. like people should have better things to do than DRINK...it's just not my thing..." I almost threw up inside because every time our group got together, drinking was involved. ANNNND Bob always purchased our drinks...
Was she upset because I do enjoy having a couple mixed drinks, perhaps Bob should not buy my drinks? Was she angry because I was not "adult" enough (remember that time she would obsessively stare at me while I played with my ex in childish ways)? All these snide remarks she kept making was starting to get to me. The saddest part was that I genuinely liked her the first time we met! I thought she was super cool and chill... turns out she was snobby and had some type of golden stick up her ass.
She asked about how my ex and I met... I told her the truth, that we were friends and he seriously chased me for a couple of years until I decided that we should start dating. As for her, she barely met the dude.. like a month ago and they were already serious..and she called him babe and stuff and she was already head over heels in love but hated drinking even though every time we hung out, we would have drinks. CLEARLY I was confused.
A couple of weeks later, Bob abruptly ended it. I was mad at him for that because even though she was a major snobby girl, she really did love him and he literally used her and left her. I could never understand him either because he was the one to start calling her babe! He introduced her to all of his friends and family.. even called her all the time, at different parts of the day. It was strange. Anyway he said that he felt weird when she would show up at his place unexpectedly or visit him at work daily. I really don't know the story or care for it. All I know is her remarks never left me because they were pretty mean. The fact that we had alone time and she indirectly mentioned that I was childish, her tastes were the best, and she did not enjoy hanging out with us since she hates drinking, turned me off.
Literally a week later, another chick moves into the house and it turns out that she is another of Bob's baby's mama which he never mentioned to us. So much for high quality taste.
Until next time darlings.
Mucho love,
xoxo
