Cheekalicious! My take on this lotion.

Browsing through Target, I managed to get ahold of this phenomenal yet affordable product called “Expert: Shine Control Lotion” manufactured by the Boots company (www.boots.com) and made in the UK.

I bought this lotion for around $7 at Target which is not that bad considering I have tested many different moisturizers for my sensitive face. My skin is extremely stubborn and will not put up with certain brands such as “Neutrogena” or “Clearasil” which are products known to prevent acne.

The great thing about the expert shine control lotion is that it does not sit heavy on my face nor does it dry it up to the point where my skin flakes. It is a light, gel – like consistency that pumps out from the bottle and seriously soaks up into my skin the second I pat it on. It gives my face a nice, cooling effect and reduces the shine throughout, leaving my skin with a matte finish. For others who suffer with sensitive skin that breaks out from almost anything you put on it (including Clinique), I encourage you to try this product and tell me how it works for you.
It is affordable, comes in a 100mL bottle, and glides on gently, well, depending on what method you use. I like to pump twice on the back of my hand and with my index finger, select the areas that need the most matte finish and then with the remaining lotion, use it towards the areas on my face that do not need too much (due to my severe acne scars, bleh). Plus, it is summer and this lotion is perfect for the season! Unfortunately it does not contain SPF and does contain parabens (to some who avoid parabens altogether). I would suggest using this product before applying primer if you are to wear foundation over it. This has been my cheekalicious choice and daily on the go lotion for the past couple of months! Thank you for taking the time to read this review and I will be updating on more products soon! hugs, kisses&highfives!!

Sincerely Yours,
Tatiana
